Feskov Human Reproduction Group was founded by Alexander Feskov, MD, a member of the European Society for Human Reproduction and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine ASRM. Is surrogacy allowed by law in Ukraine?
Ukrainian legislation regulates the solution of problems of infertility by various normative acts, such as the Family and Civil Code of Ukraine, the Law of Ukraine " Principles of Ukrainian Health Care Legislation", a special order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 09.09.2013 No. 787, as well as a number of other normative legal acts.
The laws of Ukraine do not prohibit surrogacy programs either for its citizens or for citizens of other countries.
How is the donor or surrogate mother chosen?
Each potential surrogate mother or donor is examined by specialists and passes all the necessary tests.
The main parameters are good health, including mental health, normal reproductive indicators, the presence of at least one healthy child born naturally and the absence of contraindications for participation in programs.
How’s the paperwork for the baby going?
The clinic is staffed by professional lawyers who conduct and accompany all necessary procedures after the birth of a child. Starting with the obtaining a birth certificate, in which only the biological parents are registered, and ending with the final legalization of the child in the country of the parents.
